He was part of the Statistics Team for the modernization of both the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA, formerly NAFTA) and the Free Trade Agreement between Mexico and the European Union, as well as for the negotiation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
He represented the Mexican government at the WTO “Trade Facilitation Workshop” held in Montevideo in 2018. He was Executive Director at the “Foundation for Sustainable Development” and Analyst at “Socialand Media Solutions”.
He studied Economics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
